Grant Deadlines and Announcements

May 5, 2011 - Twelve grant recipients received their awards at the Washington Apple Education Foundation Annual Meeting in Yakima.  The 2012 grant application will be available mid-September 2011.  Applicants assisting farmworker families succeed scholastically are invited to apply.  Details under the "Guidelines" menu item.

February 2, 2011 - Washington Fruit & Produce Company awarded WAEF with a $5000 gift to use in support of activities to assist farmworker famlies success scholastically.

October 13, 2010 - For the seventh year U.S. Bancorp Foundation is supporting the Farmworker Education Program.  Their donation of $5000 will be awarded next spring.

October 5, 2010 - The new 2011 Grant Application is now available.  Please review grant guidelines before completing and contact the WAEF office with any questions.  Applications are due March 15, 2011.

July 15, 2010 - Wells Fargo awarded WAEF a grant in the amount of $3500 for the Farmworker Education Program!
