Annual Raffle & Silent Auction presented by Rears

The Washington Apple Education Foundation annual raffle and silent auction is held in conjunction with the Washington State Horticultural Association's annual meeting each year in early December.

Raffle tickets are now available for the 2009 drawing.
Please mail or fax your orders before December 1, 2009. The drawing will take place December 8, 2009 at the Washington State Horticulture Association Annual Meeting. Need not be present to win.
2008 Results
Brian Alegria, Tieton, was the name on the ticket pulled by Rears Manufacturing’s Chuck Rear at the Washington State Horticultural Association (WSHA) Industry Awards Banquet held last week in Yakima. The prize, a 2008 400 gallon TTN Powerblast sprayer, was generously donated by Rears Manufacturing company to the Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF). This is the fifteenth year for the WAEF to hold the sprayer raffle at the WSHA Annual Meeting. (more)

Apple Cup Putting Tournament Presented by Keyes Fibre

The Apple Cup Putting Challenge is held at the WAEF Golf Tournament at Desert Canyon in June. Funds raised at this event support the Apple Cup scholarship, awarded on behalf of the tree fruit industry during the cross state football game in November.

5th Annual Scholarship Celebration Luncheon

Celebrate the Washington Apple Education Foundation 2010 Crop! Students, parents and donors are invited to a luncheon to celebrate the exceptional WAEF scholarship recipients and to award them a fitting send off to their college adventure.
