Planned gifts are donations that are made in association with your will, trust or estate plans. The most common type of planned gift is a bequest.
Bequests, or other planned gifts, to the Washington Apple Education Foundation provide on-going support for vital educational assistance provided to outstanding young people in tree fruit districts. This support ensures that the industry can continue to send its young people to college and prepare them for important, future leadership roles in the industry and its communities.
The Washington Apple Education Foundation can be named in your will in a variety of ways. Below is some sample wording for you to consider with your advisors:
"I give to the Washington Apple Education Foundation located in Wenatchee, Washington, or any successor organization thereto, the sum of $100,000."
"I give to the Washington Apple Education Foundation, located in Wenatchee, Washington, or any successor organization thereto, 100 shares of WWW stock."
"I give to the Washington Apple Education Foundation, located in Wenatchee, Washington, or any successor organization thereto, 50% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate."
You might also consider naming the Washington Apple Education Foundation as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
Gifts to the Washington Apple Education Foundation are utilized in perpetuity through the Foundation's general endowment, unless otherwise instructed by the donor. Please consider personally contacting the Foundation with your bequest wishes. Discussion will be held in strictest confidence.
