August 2011 - New Scholarship Year

We're excited about sending 151 students off to college this fall with WAEF scholarships.  This summer we had an opportunity to celebrate with students and look forward to hearing their stories of college adventures in the coming months.

Now that the new school year has arrived, we are preparing scholarship packets for mailing to high school counselors in tree fruit districts.  Packets include the new 2012 application, promotional poster, and invitation to schedule scholarship training for hgh school seniors.  These packets will arrive to schools by September 10th.  Scholarship training seminars this year are available in the months of September, October and November.  We would like to see students prepared to work on scholarship applications over the holiday break.
